Charging superhub

Swiss energy company EBL has announced it is planning to create a "Swiss E-Mobility Hub", which it says will be an innovation centre for e-mobility and the largest electric charging station in Europe, with 280 charging points.

The hub will be located on the A2 motorway in Salina Raurica/Pratteln, and is being developed in partnership with the Canton of Basel-Landschaft and the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.

The hub is scheduled to become operational in 2023.
